Fishbowl
Fishbowl | fishbowl | it's where we really are
in a funhouse mirror lens | shifting till we stumble
Fall | Out | there's no knowing up or down
happy words can make a sound
with their meaning's flipped around
Try | Please | listen wider than your crippled view
If you don't you'll miss the pain | soaking |seeping it's way through
I do try | yet | in my home's no place to hide
but through her eyes | it's justified?
You can't act like what's front and center | is the only thing you see
Don't let the corners of your lens | fade away eternally
