Fishing for...

I'd love you the way you want me to But then would the love be coming from me? You'd fight me to get closer, Just to depict the romcoms and argue thinking some words will make us love more. Yet here I was everyday searching for love in these rhymes. When love lingered everywhere. Even when I'd cook dinner, even when you'd stare. Yes, that'd get me nervous but thankfully that's where I found love. To me love wasn't a coffee underneath the sunset. But how much sugar it needed everyday to make you love again. Love wasn't in the air, neither in romcoms, nor between the couples you're jealous of but in here between our positive and negative thoughts. I'd love to ask you once again. Will ring you my life but- Do you want me to love the way you want me to or the way I do it everyday?
