Fitting the Description
Look at me standing a 6"00 even. Black strong undeterred. Constantly feared in the presence of society who can't relate. Pulling me over saying let me see your license and registration. As I sit and wait in a calm. The fear process has begun. Me surrounded by 3 cop cars because they fear me,soon as they see me, unable to relate to me. As I sit calmly knowing it's all good. I say look at me. Black young and undeterred. Knowing they saying to themselves he's a threat to society. He probably has some weed maybe coke in the trunk. Saying to myself, yea look at me! Fitting your so called description. Fear me because of all those things you believe that I am, with no understanding that there is more depth to this pull over than this description. Fear me because of the intelligence you know that I might not have. Fear me because of the accomplishments that I have achieved and continue to get. Fear me because of the aspirations and dreams that are so attainable that puts me in a whole another light besides the one you shine in my face. Continue to fear me as I am able to live the life I chose without worrying about the pressures of you who want me down on the ground. Fear me as i am able to afford these unnecessary tickets you give to me. So I will continue to fit this so called description you have of me and you will always not know what truly lies beneath this so called description society has placed upon me.
