Fix Yourself
Blind to the fact that love exist
Numb to the core ,
What even is this?
Your touch is distant,
I can still feel you in my veins.
My heart is pounding, It’s screaming your name.
Look into my eyes.
Look into my soul.
Where are you going?
Do you even know?
You dream of nightmares
That cause you to scream in your sleep
It’s funny;
You seem to be living your nightmare.
Stuck in a state of misery.
Look at me.
stay.
You tell me your memories haunt you
And you can’t seem to put the past away.
Your thoughts are dust
your mind is a cage;
The dust doesn’t flow
But rather is stuck in place.
Slay those demons
Tell them your strong
They can’t destroy you
Because they are wrong.
Sometimes I go out of my way
To hear you laugh
but your thoughts are harsh And they cause you to push me away.
I’m done now,
trying to fix you.
It hurts like hell
That you can’t even see
That while I’m fixing you
You’re breaking me.
