Fjarlægur
I want to travel the world,
but I do so in my head.
When people look at me
do they see the distance in my eyes?
The wanderlust in my countenance?
I reside in my head
living in the state of Nostalgia
Confusion
Longing
Imagination.
I wish I could travel
to the places in my head;
maybe then
I could live in the state of Euphoria,
a place that exists
only in dreams.
