for flaco
we go way back in high school
my puerto rican brother
everyone always called you flaco
because you were so skinny
its amazing how you took that name flaco
and ran with it
what you accomplish
is remarkable
from being a poet
an activist
an actor
you pave the way
for poets like myself
i thank you for that
it was great hanging out yesterday
as always
you dazzled the crowd with originality
very proud of your heritage of being a puerto rican as i
keep doing your thing my brother
until we meet again brother
