The flame

I used to be your good morning We used to talk about everything I used to be your good night We talked and talked it felt right Now no time for even a snap or text Wondering now what's even next No time now for much of a call You say you love me and that's all Wish we could have time to see Do you still really care for me Is the smoke in the ashes the same Or has the other one killed our flame The connection we have is up to you I have done all I know how to do Time will tell if it's really to be You will have to make an effort for me As far as us it can never be the same I'm holding on to what's left of the flame The changes you've made really say You are willing for anything to stay As this is finished I want you to know I love you and wish you didnt really go But if you're happy and I must see For me and you it wasn't meant to be
