Flame

A lonely dance in the midnight wind,

Moving gracefully with the energy that flows from within,

An intimate twist and turn burning with desire,

A blissful lullaby only an independent flame will know.

A spark that dances with its shadow,

It's not afraid to be left alone,

For there is comfort in its dark sorrows that it tends to woe.

With every demon that confines it,

A ballad of integrity found from the brightness within,

As a new dance begins,

A flame shows that beauty is found,

even when darkness is closing in.
