Flameless

It used to shine so bright

every day and night!

Almost as if it was an eternal flame

but it stopped and theres only one thing to blame.

One day the wind came through

It was something we weren't used to!

Wiping out all the joy we had

making everyone feel sad.

As that flame stopped

the good smell dropped.

It lost its fruity smell somehow

so no one wanted to be around it now.

People started to leave

it became a place you wouldn't believe.

It was dark and cold.

It was like this until it grew old.

Then one day people came

with a light of a match it was the same.

All that was needed was the helping men

for everything to be happy again.
