Being abused by his alcoholic dad had led to Flash's violent, bullying nature, which wasn't cool.

In high school, Flash would physically bully his classmate, Peter Parker, a.k.a. Spider-Man, as you can see;

When they fought each other in a boxing match, Peter would knock Flash out of the ring and I'm speaking honestly.

After that, Flash's bullying was restricted to verbal harassment, which is true;

Bullying has been around for years, so it's not new.

When Flash was a university student, he joined the U.S. Army and fought overseas;

Whoever's a bully should get stung by a bunch of bees.

When Flash had returned to America, he and Peter became best friends;

Flash Thompson is no longer an asshole and that's the end.
