FLATLINE

My heart stops for you, it beats twice as much when I'm around you. You've healed what was once broken, torn, ripped apart, even bruised. As I lie down in bed listening to my steady heart beating for you. That adrenaline rush I long for when I see you. It was what we had that kept me happy, and now the thoughts of what was haunt me. Our happiness, memories, feelings. All lost the heat of the moment. GONE FOREVER Never to return. When I think of you my heart can only do one thing. . . . . Flat line, as I lie still with tears slowly falling I can hear my heart slowly crying out your name.
