Flaw #6 Out of 25

A flaw is usually something someone else pointed out

Pointed it out as nothing but negativity

Something you should hide or change or even be ashamed

But every flaw I was blessed with I have used to my advantage

I advise my fellow Queens to do the same

Let's talk about flaw 6 out of 25, Sensitivity

They tell me I'm too sensitive

Too quick to defend myself when someone asks me a question

No one wants to debate a topic because they're afraid they'll push the wrong buttons,

Afraid I'll hop on tip.

Don't be afraid

I am not on tip

Just simply on the edge of my seat ready to snap.

But not out of anger

But with passion

I am sensitive because I am passionate

Passionate about the things I believe, speak, or love.

I am sensitive because I know what it's like to be a shadow in my past

And I refuse to go back.

It is because of my sensitivity I know what it means

To have empathy for the next broken soul

 Truth be told

I have to fight the tears from falling

When someone raises their voice at me

 But I am not ashamed

My sensitivity has created the fighter in me

But the lover in me is fueled by sensitive touch

When it comes to someone else's feelings or love

 I speak with enough passion

To make even the most wounded hearted people

Believe there's love in another day to come

So you're damn right I woke up like this

Better yet I was born like this

I love my flaw of Sensitivity

And no one nitpicking me will ever change that

Because I once read a quote that said

"Never apologize for being sensitive or emotional. Let this be a sign that you have a big heart! And you are not afraid to let others see it. Showing your emotions is strength!"
