Flawless???

I wake up not even semi-ready-for-the-day.

It's half an hour before I'm supposed to be leaving for school

and I haven't even showered yet.

There's still homework to be done

and clothes to be picked out.

Why is it still dark outside?

I look in the bathroom mirror

and attempt to wash the sleep off my face.

The almost permanent bags under my eyes

obstruct my view of the lights on my mirror.

I splash some water on my face,

brush my teeth

and try to put on a happy face for school.

Is this how Beyonce looks when she wakes up?
