The Flawless, Fine Print

To be Flawless is defined as: to be without any blemishes or imperfections,

However, Society defines it as: to pursue subliminal correction through lethal injection.

Administering Standards and Regulations not documented, but accepted and dispensed as Fact,

Naïve Ignorance causing hasty glances over the Terms and Conditions of this contract.

Terms, detailing the principles to require and maintain the unattainable concept of perfection,

Conditions, establishing the irony of the inevitable mockery experienced and expressed as rejection.

Remember to also read the Flawless, Fine Print – that insignificant lettering upon the bottom detailing the shedding of your individual essence,

Describing the process of transforming and distorting you, further dimming that personal brilliance.

Shall this be your destiny, continue your agreement, “By selecting Yes, and agreeing to the above Terms and Conditions, in its entirety,”

Succumbing to a discontented existence, characterized by a diminishing of personal variety.

In its place, I selected “I do not agree to the Terms and Conditions”, acquiring the power over my life and that it would be different,

Establishing my denial of this contract and acknowledging that I would be ridiculed as, “Imperfect.”

“Imperfectly Perfect”, is stamped across my contract, a stroke of disgust by society but a personal illustration of moral excellence,

For His is the only bond that I wish to benefit in acceptance.

Acknowledgement of my blemished features, have produced the foundation on which I am positioned,

A fortress of solitude and individuality that has been rearranged and repositioned.

Rearranged, because I too once accepted those insignificant Terms and Conditions that diminished my worth,

I too hastily replied,” Yes, I will deny the beautiful individuality that was allotted to me at birth.”

Presently, my contract reads, “Imperfectly Perfect,” because I witness the everyday beauty within myself in the mirror,

Erasing the judgmental mist upon the glass, allowing the beauty of my flaws to become clearer

Admiration of my inner beauty developed the essence of my subconscious being,

Resulting in an Acceptance that has been refreshing to my spirit and freeing.

Before you agree to the Terms and Conditions, here is a trivial suggestion, a slight hint

Please remember to read through that Flawless, Fine Print.
