Flawless Kindness

I woke up

Kind

I woke up

Happy

I woke up

Gorgeous

I woke up

Brave

I woke up

Myself

I woke up

Not living for you

I woke up

Living for you

Because you want to know why I'm flawless

But women don't need to prove that

Women are flawless

Women are strong

Women were beaten down

Women stand up

Women are caring

Women are kind

Women are flawless

And you question

Why women aren't considered flawless all the time

It's because people keep asking

Why are you flawless

When they should already know

It's because despite what has happened to women

The discrimination, the norms, the hate

Women wake up

Flawless
