This 'Flawless' Life of Ours

In this life it can be a horror

Always striving for a perfect score,

The things around us are all fake

So be original it's our fate,

No makeup or clothes

Will hide what everyone knows,

Just let your imagination flow

All you can do is let it go,

The point of life is to be tough

But you can't be too rough,

The only way out is to be yourself

No one is here to truly help,

I am not a perfect girl

Even when I may look like a pearl,

There is no such thing

So let yourself be,

Don't compare

Or judge a hare,

It isn't your job

Never choose to follow along,

I understand

I live in the same land,

Just try your best and remember

You are FLAWLESS

This is a poem I wrote using my heart. This is a hard topic to put in words but I 100% agree. This world tries too hard to be "flawless". It needs to stop and every single person needs to know that they are perfect in their own way.
