Brown eyes

Round face

African American

Feminist

That’s who I am

That’s who I will always be

Who are you to judge me?

Anyway

Who are you to say that I’m not flawless this way?

Who are you to say that the size of my hips dictates if I’m?

Beautiful

Or

Ugly

Who are you to say that a woman is less than a man?

To them my only religion is who is in my bed every night

To them they see my appearance, not the appeal of my mind

Who are you to believe that my gender defines me?

Who are you to say that I’m not?

Flawless

Do you know the word?

Do you know what it means?

Flawless is a way of life

A way of being

Flawless is knowing my worth

Flawless is knowing that my struggles

Build character

And that my triumphs are stepping stones towards

Victory

Flawless is not arrogance

Flawless is not ignorance

Flawless is not perfect

Flawless are the imperfections

And

Beauties of

Life, soul and mind

Flawless is me.
