Flawless in their eyes
Flawless is nothing. I am nothing. Flawless is not me. I look in the mirror.
Here is what I see,
I see a mother of three with glasses and messy hair who can really barely see.
I wear glasses all day with spots and specks of this or that.
I am luck to change clothes or not feel the poop hit me. My youngest is
and infant who keeps me imoble most of my day. She eats every hour for she likes to snack.
I feel sometimes like I want to pack. What keeps me here in this wonderful flawless me is the
sight of the little mes looking lovingly back at me. They are the flawless versions of what I wish to
be. I am not the slightly overweight pajama wearing overwhelmed and tired woman. I am
flawless tothem. I am their mother who cares for them and tends to their needs. I take care of
them with the all the love I can give. I give them all I have and then a little more. I get so tired, but
know it is worth it. Stressing over the little things with them to make them happy or their day
better. Playing pillow fort for hours or preparing meals is how most of my days are. They are the
people who make me better. They make me the flawless image I see in the mirror of looking
back better. They make me flawless in the inspiration they bring. They make me better then I
could ever be. They make me work harder and try harder. They make me think things through
more than I would ever do on my own. They make my stretch marks beautiful and worth every
memory the have that goes with them. So what I see before me that I can barely see makes me
happier than can be. For I know the every bump and scar was worth it for me.
