Flawlessly Flawed

Cross your legs.

Chin up.

Which way is your nose facing?

Smile....no don't.

Striving for impossibilities,

my eyes glance at her and then look back at the ground.

Eyes now still, holding in a swirling sea of thoughts.

Comparisons, negativity, self awareness, pushing and pulling.

It doesn't stop.

Ever.

Except for those moments when the unconditional love from a very special boy glides down my body.

My body.

Full of flaws that only I see.

Flaws that are just an idealogical concept from big men sitting behind mohogany desks.

He doesn't see any of them.

They are not flaws to him.

To him, I am flawless.

He makes me forget.

I forget to suck in, sit up straight, lean forward to make my legs look thinner.

I am embraced.

Thoughts recede into that dark crevace.

I am me.

To me, I am flawed.

To him, I am just me.
