Flaws

Everyone has something they’re bad at.

Something that leaves them grabbing their hair in frustration

Or that makes them want to punch something

Everyone has at least one thing

For me, it’s science.

I suck at it.

As in, I spend hours studying, but still bomb the test.

I’m a flawed creature,

        We all are.

                I understand this.

But.

         There’s a catch.

We’re not all flawed in he same way.

I might carry a solid “C” in Chemistry,

But this girl gets and “A”, so she’ll help me understand.

You might be impatient, easily frustrated,

But that man knows how to make you feel calm and safe.

Yes.

The human race is flawed,

And everyone is bad at something.

But put us all together,

     And we will be amazing.

When everyone works together,

     All our flaws cancel out.

We become the definition of perfect.

Practice does not make perfect,

But people, participation, and perseverance do.
