Flaws

Mind heart and soul,

All marred and changed over years past,

Innocence lost from youth,

The world seemed to change so fast,

I'd give all to go back,

To reverse the years that broke me,

The days that took my life,

All I want is to again be free,

The joy I knew as a child,

I would go back if only I could,

But life had hardened me,

The way many believe that it should,

Without that innocence and love,

Our days are dark and slow,

Life becomes void,

Taking the steps back is the way I would go.
