Laugh

smile

deep down it’s still a hurt

i remember the words

i remember the gestures

to comply and simply smile

with each feeling of being inadequate

i must overcome the feeling of sinking

of inevitable failure

to remission

or to succumbing

however the case

i must try

and I want to fly
