The Flicker of Light

It is darkness and it is light that battles through the stormy night

Fire shatters bone and flesh in every sight

Silence, fear flows through the cracks

It is but a battle of darkness and the light

Lights and whispers flicker in the burning night

Through the shadows comes a light

The end has come, the bells have rung

And it but an everlasting night that creeps upon the flicker of the light
