Flight of Opportunity

You were giving a ticket, it was bought with a price

Promise this new opportunity but your journey starts with a flight

On this ride is just your bags of hope and dreams

Leaving your loves, you're off to better things

As it's getting closer for your time to leave

You realize everything is not what you thought it'll be

Your flight is delayed but you remain cool

As the minutes turn into hours you're loosing that cool

Now you're starting to grow impatient,

Persuading to speed the process but there's no negotiation

Frustrated because you feel like your going through a cycle

Just know through every departure there's always an arrival

Finally the plane of opportunity has arrived.

You get onboard and now you feel alive

Taking off to your new life everything is moving smooth and fast

Then you hit some turbulence, now things are getting bad.

The ride is shaking and fear starts to grip you

You're looking up to God, begging him to assist you

Now it's storming you're wondering if you can ever get a break

You start to complain and then the Lord ask you where is your faith?

He said, "Above every rain cloud there's always sunshine"

You didn't understand because you're still worrying about time

Your faith is growing and peace is coming upon you

You're rising above the dark clouds into higher altitude

Everything is back smooth, feeling good about your destination

You're high in the sky, that's the only limitation

As you land you realized the process was worth it

Now you're going into this opportunity with a purpose.
