enmeshed in journeys digressing into mist

unruly waters undulate into

streams in upheaval, folding over boisterously,

unassuming predecessors of life’s genesis,

torrential cosmogony roaring into being

unmeasurable hillpeaks impose above

and pullulate over pure arrogance, they harken

like coiled snakes vying for an escape,

churning, tossing, upending their fate

unmatured wood strands soak beneath,

they breed as masses of temperate searing veils

betraying the odious necessity of forgotten

multiplicity and undercurre indulgence

unmatched predators soar up catching thermals

they teem into insatiable frenzy, permeating

valves of escape and clogging any channel

of declarative possibilities secreted away

unfathomed vultures swoop down violently

spreading an inflection of distressing signals,

populating overcrowded nests in eagerness,

basking in excess and flimsy grandiosity
