Flipped

Emotions are like hard nails pressing into my skull. Silence stitching my mouth shut without warning. Emptiness rotting away every pumping vein in my heart. Cruel thoughts running through my mind screaming regret, regret, regret. Empathy I no longer feel towards those who have hurt me. Apathy is the only thing I breathe.
