Floaties

The moment you realize you love someone you want to drown in them, or so they say. I always thought that you would drown and the one you loved was supposed to bring you back to the Bay. So when I Thought I Loved You, I let myself drown. It took me a good long while to realize you weren't around. Then I stopped and looked, To see where you were. Only to see you at the Lifeguard Tower, Flirting with another girl. So I saved myself that day, The girl didn't get the guy. All my dreams of fairy tales Were slowly fading into lies. So next time you think you're in love Have floaties with you before you drown Because they don't always come to save you Sometimes they're nowhere to be found.
