Floating Away

As the pain continues it rains

It rittles, rattles, and ripples against my window,

As I lay and cry I wonder will I die or will it subside.

Little does anyone know im fading

I am floating away into a sea full of darkness,

As i try to speak it comes out as a squeak and I fail

I fail as I try to lift myself with the bed rail.

This hospital is quiet and cold as the suspects soul

As the police ask for my story i remain still

I was told to never fold until pressure.

As i float away to my destiny just know my presence

for my loved ones was once a treasure.
