Floetry

My poetry flows like a running faucet spewing out backed up drainage

Spitting  spats of spoiled sewage

Drip drop

Slip spit spat

STOP!

Nothing flows like a crystal clearly cleaned body of tears

Nothing works like a well-oiled machine when the parts are separated from the base

When the oil is already used up in the practice run

The Gatorade- a drink used to energize during primetime- was drunk up during the warm-up

We have no fuel

No petroleum

No gas… it cost too much

We’re stuck

Stay stable … or walk away ‘cuz this shit ain’t movin’
