Flood

Emotions,

too hard to hide

feeling,

sensitive to the touch

feeling these emotions that I have for you

makes me vulnerable

for I feel too deeply

i feel,

indescribable highs yet unimaginable lows

that which crushes my heart

you make my heart race and lose my breath

yet make it frozen in place,

fragile to the touch like a house made of glass

like blood bursting from a deep wound

so do the tears from my eyes,

like and endless flood

till nothing is left

and will never return
