Florida Babe

It all started freshman year

Met this dude with the flyest gear

Had a class together

Didn't even know each other

Wasn't science, felt the chemistry

A connection like it was destiny

I could feel his eyes

And in my mind he was mines

A glance

Give me a chance

Closer, and closer everyday

Making me smile in everything he would say

Something like love at first sight

"You know we gon' get married right?"

The words that are forever in my mind

We won't together

But the love I have is forever

Waiting on you to be ready

I moved on, his feelings weren't steady

But yet, still he was in my brain

He is my everything

Sophomore years comes along

Still things are wrong

Why aren't we together?

A question with no answer

I moved on again

It wasn't part of the plan

Last day

I didn't know what to say

When you told me you were going away

Why so far to Florida bay

We'll be together one day
