Flounder's Wish

She swims, almost dancing around me

I watch as she wishes to leave

She glows, more beautiful than the sea

Oh, why does she wish to flee

She is my best friend, my mate

I follow her, as quiet as I can

Only to keep her away from bait

Little does she know, I know her plan

I watch as she watches the shore

I know where she keeps her found gems

I know what Ursula swore

I wait as she’s now on the shore with them

Little does she know I have a secret too

That one day, I want to walk too
