Flow

The rain spills down my window, Drops dragging my attention Flowing- a generated path To the pool on my sill. Flooding, spilling to be soaked Up by the earth. Cramming Droplets til it can hold no more. Wearing a path of mud down A small incline- tripping all Who are to climb it the next day. Drops from the sky disrupting The smooth river racing To the gutter. Combining With the sewage beneath The streets, tainted completely. Water, no longer pure. Sliding through many filters, In an attempt to cleanse. Rushing to the ocean. An escape from impurity.
