The Flower
Ive lived this long as a dull flower
Not living up to my full potential
Not showing people what i could do if i actually tried
But its time
Its time to show the world the real me
The gorgeous flower worthy of a sleek glass case
The flower worth more than your puny six fugures
I am worth more than a concrete hug and a sandy finish
I am priceless
Yes, i am
But not in your sense
I am priceless in the sense that you have no knowledge of my desired currency
I am worth the world in dollars
Yet, want to be bought with emotions
I want the world too know that love is more valuable that any amount of money
Self-esteem will no longer define me
Lack of beauty will no longer undermine me
I ahve grown
I have blossomed
Now, i will live on
