The flower and the tree

Just like a flower growing wild and free Withering, blooming, shining Just like the leaves on a tall green tree Angst consumes me This is just the beginning Just like a flower growing wild and free I dare you to see what I see Fair warning: there is beauty in all things Just like the leaves on a tall green tree Fear shapes me Anchored in place; never leaving I’m just like a flower growing wild and free Do you think you could love me? Cause I got a whole lot of love to give and ill keep on giving Just like the leaves on a tall green tree My insecurities shade me I’m calling. Are you listening? Just like a flower growing wild and free. Just like the leaves on a tall green tree.
