The Flower That Bloomed

We all have to grow up one day. 

We are just seeds that are planted and rooted in rich soil. 

A soil that is moist and constantly watered, and taken good care of to finally be able to bloom when the time is right.  

For me I believe my journey started early, yes I was given sunlight, nutrients and plenty of love..but I always think was that enough..

I was the flower that sprouted early.

I was too mature for my age, I already thought I knew what was best, I already knew what it was I wanted. 

I was the seed with deep roots that kept everyone grounded together.

A sense of direction, A sense of calming the waters in the mist of chaos. 

I was the flower that bloomed early. 

One good flower out of 5 tough others that just could not get it together. 

One flower that everyone knew would be okay even when it stormed and I felt as if I was withering away. 

One flower that lived and loved everything around her even if that meant sacrificing her own happiness. 

I was the flower that bloomed, 

The flower that started to understand that not every environment put in, was good for her.

Not all seeds are rooted in good soil. 

Some seeds are already damaged before they even become rooted.

I was the flower that bloomed, 

The flower that realized she had a purpose, and needed to stop being so naive. 

I was the flower that bloomed,

The flower that knew she had to shed her past, to focus on her future. 

I am the flower that bloomed. 

The flower that is now understanding for once that she comes first! 

The flower that is trying to keep her faith through those severe winds. 

The flower that is uprooting any and every generational curse which no longer belongs. 

The flower that learned that everything will work out in her favor. 

I am the flower that bloomed.
