The Flower Knows

Water the seed, pretty thing A drink to quench the thirst A beautiful flower spring will bring If the seed is properly nursed Memories can’t grow Blood isn’t water Only the flower will know Skin will never grow hotter A patch of dirt, surrounded by dead. Nothing grows, nothing grows Lay to rest, in this barren bed The secrets only the flower knows
