Flower People

Forests blanket the back side of the earth With a tomb of sanctity We lock ourselves within Hoping to never embrace the sanity of this world Novels are written on the walls With the perfect combination of twenty six letters Speaking will never give us the freedom To say exactly what we are feeling The exact moment when the snow starts to fall Or when the light leaves the eyes of the most memorable people Who touch your life Without ever really being in it The intricate finger prints are left in a beautiful mind Replace eyes with daisies Hearts with hydrangeas Lace the rib cage with baby's breath Create a being from the earth Add the whisper of the wind A masterpiece where a brain should be Take a step out of the sanctuary Expose the flower child to a new world Let them write their own masterpiece Leaving the light scent of their floral body With every beautiful mind they touch
