The Flower Still Grows

The Flower Still grows

You wake up as if everything is okay, but something doesn’t feel the same

The wind is free like a sunny day but something has changed.

You soon forget who you are until you play your heart with song

This feeling is uncontrolling like all you want to do is keep on rolling.

The voices tell you , you can’t be this you aren’t good enough

But how could you when shes here controlling you as if you were a diamond in the dust?

You continue to fight back like a dandelion  but she’s making you change.

You have to grow up into the flower your meant to be to protect the one you love.

She fights even when the thorns start to poke

She is changing but is still on the journey of the road

The voices tend to leave as the sun appears

As she rises into hope

The seed has bloomed but has not yet withered

Allowing  the changes to become a rose

As she leaves home
