Flower women
Flower Women
What is a flower?
And how does it grow?
How delicate is that flower, no one may never know
Flowers come and they go, in all shapes and colors
But what makes a flower different from every other
We grow and we glow but we’re all the same to one another
This flower’s roots are slightly different
She realized that every flower didn’t grow like she did and this was only the beginning
Some flowers were negative,
But we call them weeds
Some even think they might grow up to become trees
The weeds were cruel and were always in a drought
They even made some of us flowers pout
Why were they like this, why were they cruel
The weeds weren’t raised to become jewels
Throughout the seasons we come and go
You would think the weeds would gain control
Why they act the way the do,
We may never know
But not this flower.
I forgot to mention the flowers that have thorns
They weren’t born with them, they had to grow
See thorns grow within when you find yourself
Not only did she grow her thorns,
But her color changed.
It was almost magnificent, one might say
A color for which was unique in her own way
It was T’Laina.
T’Laina realized that not every flower is the same,
Some flowers cannot restore and overcome their pain
But she could so she did
And she felt so amazed
It wasn’t about her looks,
It was about her growth and how she carried herself
As long as she loved herself, so would everyone else
See first came self love which is why some may not grow their thorns
But once again these don’t come when you’re born
REBORN maybe, you must know yourself
She knew what was good for her health
The sun and the rain helped her grow but it was only HER who took the toll
She knew she couldn’t be like everyone else
Her uniqueness is what made her herself
She was proud and happy,
She never felt more accomplished
T’Laina realized that she couldn’t let the weeds stop her
For she has goals, which would begin when she was reborn
When the inside is beautiful, the outside will be restored
