Flowered Garden

the garden is overgrown by weeds,

the garden would be lovely without them,

the flowers would be able to be free,

to be able to breathe

untammed roots and stems weave throughout

our small makeshift forest 

making it a hectic place 

that causes some guests to feel disturbed

we like it that way however

all of us do

we would not want to ruin those beautiful flowers in any

way despite what everyone may say

the flowers need the weeds just as much as the weeds need the flowers
