Flowering

I grow long and

tall every day.

I take in energy,

I breathe out energy.

The wind blows through

me and sometimes it,

Knocks me down.

My beauty does not

Shine through often.

Yet when it does,

I am loved and cared for,

and I am admired! To the

Point of death. You

snatch me up. You

cut off my point of growth. You

showcase me like you are proud of me,

But I know.

I know how you bought me and

brought me into this world,

for this very reason.

To kill me.
