Flowers

My eyes stream, I sniffle helplessly as I grab for another tissue. Headaches become an everyday occurrence. Why, you might ask? It is not a break-up, Or mourning. Nor am I upset in anyway. No, I am this way Because my body cannot bear springtime pollen. So every year, my eyes itch and my head pounds. I should be happy, that I am burdened by such a silly trifle For such a short amount of time. But there is something to be said About children who run From flowers instead of towards them.
