Flowers

Rainbows sit inside of the dew

the dew that sits on petals of velvet

gone is the icy chill that made lips turn blue

all things alive are green and new

Pollen is spread from one buzzing bee

sunny rays shine down on his yellow and black jacket

flying from one to another and then he’s seen three!

Oh this life is so happy, alive and free

~

Lilies sit where the heart once beat

hands clasped in an eternal peace

as the pipes all play, with the ground she meets

petals falling down in a lovely white sheet

tears falling from closed and quiet eyes

drop onto petals, it never will cease

around the stone grows a colorful disguise

one meets the ground as they meet the sky.
