Flowers And Cards

I remember I forgot how to smile, And for a little while, I was living in denial, Because i thought the feeling of happiness did not exist And if it did, Why did it consist of Flowers And Cards I remember my first real Valentines day I didnt get a gift and you know what they say Walking home by myself, i thought the world was going to end And i was locked in a box and i had no friends But i got to my house and there sitting on the porch was: Flowers and Cards I remember how my dad used to fuss Cause my mom didnt trust Him, And i remember my mom used to cry And i never understood so i was stuck asking why..... when they argued did he send her Flowers and Cards
