Flowers and Plants

Just what makes the flowers grow?
Sunshine, rain and an occasional mow.
Lovely, red flowers growing in a pot
In little bitty bunches, or a great big lot!
Daisies, hibiscus, and cock's combs are nice,
Even a few herbs, just to add some spice.

There's nothing lovelier than an aromatic rose,
Something that helps you appreciate your nose.

We all should have flowers and plants in our yards
Dry them and press them and put them in cards.
Everyone could use a little beauty in their life.
So next time you're outside, grab the pruning knife,
a vase, and brighten your life!
