Flowers and Sunshine

Watching as the winter blows Away the spring, here comes the snow Never been this cold before Freezing all the love I've ever known Won't you warm me with your soul? Won't you just keep a tight hold, onto me Green leaves fall away The sky begins to, turn to gray, and she is, slowly, fading from me She says that I hurt, her more and she couldn't take That I'm not the one, that can take her breath away Could this be the way that fate Would cheat me of my soul mate, today She says that she hates, how I'd go out of my way To make her feel special, bring a smile to her face She says it's not meant to be And I should burn away the memories My sunshine hides behind shadows of The cold-hearted snow It's here that I lose faith, 'cuz Now I, feel alone, so, cold Watching as the spring unfolds Birds returning to the sky, whoa Your love is what makes me bold When you're in my arms you are, my world Won't you warm me with your soul? Won't you just keep a tight hold, onto me Green leaves here to stay The sky begins to, turn to blue, and she is, slowly, coming to me She says that she'll always love me if I'll be me And I am the one, that makes her heartbeat race Yeah she melted all the pain And the birds will sing throughout the rain She says that she loves, how I always kept her safe That I wouldn't leave, no matter how long I'd stay Without me here she can't breathe She'd forget all of these memories
