Flowers Bleached Out

Years and months
fears, doubts
they build up and laughter drowns
when silence comes
and washes out
the colours from the flowers
flowers bleached out

Can't tell them apart
they all look the same
waiting for the dark
praying for rain
then dew gently kisses
you'll never see them again
flowers disappeared
and so did the pain
