flowers in the night

Dear mental health,

I cry myself to sleep

wanting to get better

having dark thoughts

my brain does not work like yours

clinical

fluorescent

doctors

code black

screaming, fighting wanting to live

but struggling to find a way

out

we were like a downed powerline

electric

dangerous

We sparked with ambiguity

wanting something more

something more no one could give

we trickled in moonlight

a top the water tower

asking anybody to save me

beautiful souls

among each other at the table

waiting for us

the beautiful girls who smile

wild flowers

In the field in the night

blossoming

the sun shines and you welcome it

with open arms

the bees pollinate

dear me, love me
