Flowers At Your Grave

There is a line that can never be crossed,

Walk like the rest of us or you'll get lost,

But some people refuse to be same

And act like they're repackaged with a new name.

These people know that we're not meant to be the same way,

So they keep on marching until the end of the day,

No matter who tells them that they must be like the rest,

They keep on keeping on and keeping on facing tests.

They keep that little spring in their step,

Keep on being told to change but they haven't yet,

They're the ones who are always looking for new,

They're not going to try to be like you.

They're going to wave a flag for who they are,

For all of them to see from near and far,

Even though they are shunned by their peers,

They keep on being themselves despite the tears.

We all hide a little rebel in our soul,

So here's your chance, embrace it, make you whole,

Because when it comes to the end of time,

We'll all need to be like the undefined.
